Your feature this Tuesday is none other than
VERSIZ!!
Versiz is an Emcee, producer, poet and recording engineer. He's made three Detroit poetry slam teams, been named Detroit Grand Slam Champion and took 2nd place in the Individual World Poetry Slam. Versiz has shared stages with KRS-One, Proof, The Last Poets, Kathleen Battle, Amp Fiddler, Black Bottom Collective, and many other artists. Versiz has also shared the stage with speakers Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, and Rev. Al Shapton. Versiz is the only hip hop artist to ever be featured by The Detroit Symphony Orchestra in it's 91 year history. Production/Engineering credits include The Last Poets, Keith Washington, The Four Tops, Purple Gang, Professor Grif of Public Enemy and M-1 of Dead Prez.
